Frequently asked questions
Does it really never expire?
Really. The address is encoded inside the drawing itself, so the code doesn't depend on us at all: even if this site vanished tomorrow, your QR codes would keep working. The only thing that can stop working is the page it points to, and that one is up to you.
Can I change the destination after printing it?
No, and that is the fair price of never expiring: if the destination could be changed, somebody would have to store it somewhere and charge you for it. There are no scan statistics either, for the same reason. If you need to change the destination, point the QR at a page you own and change that page.
Is my information uploaded anywhere?
Nothing is. The code is generated inside your browser, on your own device. Neither the link, nor the Wi-Fi password, nor the logo you upload ever leaves your computer.
What do I need to print it in 3D?
Any home 3D printer and two filament colours with good contrast, usually black and white. The 3MF file already holds the two parts separated and coloured, so your printer's software recognises them by itself. If your printer is single-colour, print the two parts separately and fit them together.
